Hitlab is an online lab where musicians can come and test out their songs to find out if they have a potential hit on their hands!

Hitlab uses revolutionary Dynamic Hit Scoring (DHS) technology developed by DIAGNOS which compares a song’s hit potential to the Top 100 Billboard hits of the past 6 years.

DHS algorithms mine data from patterns which exist in the music, and compare these patterns to that of hit songs in the US from the past six years. Seventy-eight variables are measured to determine the song's hit potential. A score of over 70% means that the song is widely appealing because it demonstrates similar mathematical patterns to recent chart-topping hits by the industry's biggest stars.

Musicians can create their own profile for themselves or their band where they can upload songs, videos, pictures and CD artwork. It is a one-stop music central for their fans to go and find out what’s new with their favorite artist or to recruit a new fan following across the globe! Musicians can add links to their existing profiles on MySpace, Facebook and let the world discover their music. Plus, they can find out what the HITLAB community thinks of their tracks as they give the artist feedback on their latest tracks.

The Sell & Share your Music section allows artists to find out how they can sell their music on HITLAB without any industry heavyweights taking a chunk of their change!

Hitlab holds contests where aspiring musicians could see their dreams of getting a record deal fulfilled! With key players of the music industry on the jury listening in on their creations, their song could be the next one to top the charts!

HITLAB is also for music enthusiasts tired of listening to the same old songs and artists. Fans can buy songs and help musicians live off of their art.

HITLAB is a place for people who love music to discover new talents, share their treasured finds with their friends and decide who the next big thing will be!

HITLAB is a music community where one can find new artists, listen to their songs, buy their music, tell friends about new favorite bands and help musicians possibly live off of their art.
